Purpose of the Role

To support this momentum, we’re looking for a football obsessed executive who is seriously talented writing engaging and inspiring content to own the ongoing evolution of our Football content and insight, ensuring our technology delivers inspiring narrative to consumers and inspires then to transact. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how Sportsbook operators engage players, and you’ll be part of the team driving the next stage of AxiumAI’s growth story.

What You’ll Do

• Monitor, evaluate, and improve Verso’s Football content 24/7.
• Write football content in long and short form to train AI engines.
• Identify what insights and events drive engagement for both recreational and experienced sportsbook players pre-match and in-play.
• Own football content performance: what worked, what didn’t, and why.
• Run experiments on content formats, tone, subjects & timing to optimise engagement.
• Define and track engagement metrics tied directly to player interaction and revenue.
• Shape the Football Content development roadmap, feeding Technology & Product teams in pioneering real-time football engagement.
• Adapt content strategies to regional betting preferences & cultural nuances.

What We’re Looking For

• Football obsessive – Deep knowledge of all leagues including European & international football.
• Understanding of Football betting.
• Ability to write compelling football narrative for any application.
• Familiarity with AI-driven content – or willingness to learn how to evaluate and iterate AI outputs to ensure they resonate with different audiences in real-world environments
• Product thinker – love shaping requirements and influencing roadmap decisions.
• Hands-on operator – you don’t just highlight problems, you test, tweak, and fix.
• Curious & relentless – always asking: “what would make this content better?”
• Startup work ethic – adaptable, proactive, comfortable with ambiguity, and ready to lean in wherever needed. You’ll need to be switched on 24/7.
