Purpose of the Role

We’re building a next-generation AI platform to power hyper-personalized, real-time customer experiences at scale. Our systems process billions of data points daily using LLMs, advanced ML, and agentic architectures – delivering >10% revenue uplift for global clients.

What You’ll do

As a Data Scientist, you’ll be part of the core team driving end-to-end ML systems – from experimentation to impact.

You will:

• Own the full ML lifecycle: exploration, modeling, validation, and iteration
• Build production-grade models and agent-based systems with engineers
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to inform product and business strategy
• Design algorithms that power intelligent, contextual decisioning
• Develop pipelines, monitor model health, and ensure data integrity
• Collaborate across disciplines: data, engineering, product, and business
• Establish and scale best practices in experimentation and reproducibility
• Help define the strategic role of ML across AxiumAI

Specialist Skills and Experience

Core

• Understanding of agent orchestration, tool usage, and multi-agent collaboration.
• Strong Python, SQL, and Spark; experience with Docker & Git best practices
• Familiarity with ML pipelines and cloud platforms (GCP / AWS / VertexAI / BigQuery / Sagemaker)
• Good understanding of the end-to-end Machine Learning (ML) lifecycle, including experimentation, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance
• Experience in productionalising and enabling value from traditional ML models
• Strong understanding of A/B testing techniques, including multi-armed bandits and sequential testing methodologies
• Ability to translate business questions into actionable ML solutions
• Strong communication skills and product intuition

Desired

• Experience building agentic workflows or autonomous agents
• Background in LLMs, RAG systems, embeddings, or vector DBs
• Reinforcement learning frameworks (e.g., TorchRL, Gym, RLlib)
• Startup or consulting experience
