Purpose of the Role

Processing billions of data points daily, we use advanced ML and large language models (LLMs) to power intelligent recommendations, contextual content, and real-time decisioning, driving >10% revenue uplift for our partners.
As a member of AxiumAI, you’ll have access to state-of-the-art NLP/NLG tools, foundation models, hybrid vector databases, and all the infrastructure needed to fine-tune, evaluate, and serve production-grade models.

What You’ll do
As a Data Engineer, you’ll be a key contributor to our ML infrastructure, working closely with the founding team to scale our AI-native platform.
You will:
- Design and build scalable, high-performance data pipelines and APIs.
- Implement real-time streaming architectures for intelligent, low-latency AI decisions.
- Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to productionize models and agents.
- Maintain data quality, monitoring systems, and alerting infrastructure.
- Influence architecture, tooling, and engineering culture from day one.
- Contribute to a multi-disciplinary team working across data, engineering, and product.
You’ll Make 10x Impact By:
- Designing AI-native data infrastructure to support rapid scale.
- Ensuring real-time data feeds power smart, responsive AI systems.
- Establishing strong engineering and monitoring standards.
- Helping shape a high-performance culture and stack.
You Bring
Core experience (must-have):
- 3+ years in data/software engineering
- Strong SQL & Python skills; solid grasp of OOP and Git best practices
- Cloud experience (GCP or AWS)
- Proficiency in Apache Spark or PySpark
- Real-time systems (Pub/Sub, Kinesis) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog)
Extra bonus:
- Familiarity with embeddings, vector DBs, graph databases
- Orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect)
- Startup or consulting background
